Who can shop at Kent Reserve?

Kent Reserve serves both medical patients and recreational users aged 21 and older. You do not need to be a Maryland resident. A valid government-issued ID is required for all purchases.

What is the difference between being a medical cannabis patient in Maryland and a recreational customer?

• Registration: Medical patients need a physician’s recommendation and must register with the Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA), while recreational customers do not.
• Products: Medical patients have access to a wider range of products and higher possession limits. • Taxation: Medical patients are exempt from the state’s 9% sales tax, while recreational customers must pay it.
• Limits: Medical patients can buy more cannabis at a time.
• Age: Medical patients can be 18+, while recreational customers must be 21+.

How can I register as a medical patient?

• Get a Physician’s Recommendation: Visit a registered physician who will evaluate your condition and provide a certification recommending cannabis.
• Create an MCA Account: Go to the MCA website and create an account.
• Submit Documentation: Upload proof of Maryland residency and your physician’s certification.
• Pay the $50 Fee: There’s a one-time registration fee of $50.
• Wait for Approval: MCA will review your application, and if approved, you will receive your Medical Cannabis Patient ID card.
• Once you have your ID card, you can purchase medical cannabis at any licensed dispensary in Maryland.

What can customers expect during their first visit?

Customers can expect a warm, inviting and professional environment catering to both connoisseurs and new cannabis users. The customer service experience will be interactive within the shoppable sales floor, and experienced guests can take advantage of pre-ordering online and using our drive-thru. What will I need to bring to shop at Kent Reserve?

To shop at Kent Reserve, customers will need a valid government-issued ID. We accept cash and debit cards for payment. There is an ATM available on-site. Fees may apply. Medical patients need their government-issued ID and medical number.

How does pick-up in the drive thru work?

Our drive-thru is pre-order only. Please wait for a confirmation before coming to our store. Place your order online and use the drive-thru lane or come in the store for pick-up. The person who places the order must accept the cannabis from the drivers side window.

What if I purchase product that is defective?

Kent Reserve welcomes our customers to return any product purchased at our store. We accept returns within 14 days of purchase. All returns and exchanges are at the sole discretion of Kent Reserve. If an exact replacement is unavailable, we will offer a similar product of equal value. Proof of purchase is required for all returns. Please contact our team for assistance.

Requirements

A valid, government-issued photo identification card as set forth in Regulation .04B(2) of COMAR 14.17.12.08 is required to receive an order of cannabis or cannabis products.

All customers and patients must present valid government-issued photo identification to be permitted entry to a Kent Reserve dispensary, to make a purchase, and to receive cannabis products. Only the following forms of government-issued photo identification are acceptable: driver’s license or identification card issued by a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia, U.S. passport or passport card, foreign passport, U.S. military identification card, or Tribal card. University- or college-issued identification cards are not considered sufficient forms of identification. Maryland Patient or Caregiver cards are acceptable identification for the medical program.

Kent Reserve will always give priority service to its medical patients.

Medical program patients and caregivers may bring their minor children, less than eight years of age, into the dispensary. Maryland law does not permit adult-use or recreational customers to bring children into the dispensary.

Adult Use

As of July 1, 2023, adults 21 or older may possess up to 1.5 ounces of cannabis flowers, 12 grams of concentrated cannabis, or a total amount of cannabis products that does not exceed 750 mg THC. Kent Reserve will serve adults 21 or older for all cannabis products. Valid physical, unexpired government-issued ID is required to purchase adult-use cannabis products.

Medical Use

Medical cannabis is available to all Maryland patients. To purchase medical cannabis in Maryland, you’ll have to meet certain state qualifications and become a registered patient. To get your Maryland medical marijuana card, you’ll need to get a written certification from your doctor. Medical patients are given priority access.
